Update: There was a mistake, as our contract partner assumed they were deactivating an inactive cable from a customer who no longer exists. Instead, they took offline a Dark Fiber that has been actively in use for almost 15 years, without informing us beforehand. This means the entire process was neither foreseeable nor avoidable for us. The situation was highly unusual and therefore not immediately apparent.
Update: Dark Fiber line has restored the main line to operation.
