Dear customers,
we would like to inform you that there will be maintenance works on a transport line to Amsterdam on March 20, 2026 which the darkfiber provider announced. This maintenance is being carried out to improve future stability.
The maintenance will take place between 00:00 and 06:00 (UTC+1), with the actual maintenance period expected to last no more than 2–3 hours. During this time, packetloss and reduced bandwidth availability can be expected. We will steer more traffic during this time via our Frankfurt network PoP.
At the same time, we will be carrying out scheduled work on our routing infrastructure to avoid overlapping maintenance efforts.
As announced earlier, there will soon be a new network PoP in Duesseldorf, Germany (Digital Realty). Remaining construction works for the new redundant darkfiber connection to the new network site at Digital Realty Düsseldorf are currently in progress which is scheduled to be completed by approximately begin of May. Once this new network PoP is operational, the impact of such maintenances can and will be completely avoided in the future.
