Dear Customers,
At approximately 09:20, our monitoring systems detected an issue with one of the two top-of-rack switches in one rack. Upon investigation, we initially suspected a temporary drop in the traffic display within the portal due to a recent restart of our management server. However, further analysis revealed that one of the switches did not behave as expected.
All servers configured with active LACP (Link Aggregation Control Protocol) channels automatically failed over to the secondary switch, typically within 3 seconds, ensuring minimal disruption.
We recommend reviewing your server’s LACP configuration and ensuring the following:
LACP rate fast is enabled. This setting verifies the connection to both switch ports every second, allowing for quicker failure detection.
The LACP channel is fully active. You can verify this via our portal — both switch ports should be displaying traffic under the statistics section.
If you notice that only one port is showing activity, or if you're unsure about your current setup, we’re happy to assist you in verifying and configuring LACP correctly.
Please note that reloading your server’s network configuration will cause a brief interruption in connectivity, typically lasting a few seconds.
Should you have any questions or require assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Best regards,
